Karynn Krill Weinstein talks about the characteristics of the memories as the pieces of life that form identity. She presents herself as a person who has been through the ups and downs, victories and spiritual conquests, and she decides to narrate her experience in a memoir.
When Karynn was only three years old, she resorted to prayer as a result of being hurt by the harsh words of her mother. What started as a cry of pain by a child led to a serious spiritual quest. During these early years, she had vivid and rather dreamlike visions, in which she sat on the lap of God, wrapped about with His warmth and love, and with Jesus ever standing near, on his right hand.
These visits were as regular as her life since she was three years old until she was six. Whenever she shut her eyes in prayer it seemed like she was in a heavenly place--in a white serene place, a platform which God accepted as his little girl. It is in one of these sacred moments that God tenderly set her down on the floor, tapped her, and said things that would reverberate throughout her whole life: Karynn, go and save the world. It was too much, nearly beyond her understanding, to the six-year-old, but still it sank deep in her heart.

Karynn had a high athletic spirit when she was young. She was an excellent diver, learned the accuracy and the boldness it took, and she worked successfully at the basketball post at which the strength of spirits, power, and vitality were evident in her. Sports helped her to invest both discipline and happiness and convey that to other areas of life, and it gave her confidence and strength.
Although she was committed to it, Karynn at times had problems with memorizing music and she laughs as she recalls how she would fake her way through a performance by feigning to play as the rest of the band carried the melody.
